About
Trained to be a mechanical engineer, sailed the seas for over a decade in the merchant navy, then did a stint with the Taj group of hotels as a project engineer. Later, set up a couple of industries in Bangalore exporting to Europe, worked as a college faculty and finally heeding an inner call turned a writer. Started with freelancing full-time on travel for mainstream newspapers, in-flight and other niche magazines and doing assignments for corporate in-house publications in between writing newspaper editorials. Contributor to niche spiritual magazines and others, like a Times Group publication. Later, worked on coffee table travel books on Kerala and Karnataka as writer and editor. Author of the book Marine Diesel Engines and contributor to one of Jack Canfield’s ‘Chicken soup for the soul’ series of books. Author of Malabar Mansion, a suspense thriller set in interior Kerala. My latest work, a spiritual parable of over 1,00,000 words, is now published.
